Isaacs Smart Switch SMART WIRELESS PRODUCTS
900 MHz Spread Spectrum, Digital Reliability For automated control and monitoring you need a product that you know will work first time, every time. That's why SmartSwitch™ and SmartData™ wireless systems use 900 MHz, frequency hopping, and spread spectrum technology. This combined with data encoding and proprietary protocol helps eliminate false data interference from radio or other electromagnetic sources.
Traditional telemetry systems send a signal on one frequency. In congested areas, single frequency systems are susceptible to interference because any other device using the same frequency can corrupt or block the signal. Isaacs wireless systems operate on many different frequencies, in random order, staying only milliseconds on each frequency in the band. Thus they don't stay long enough on any frequency to bother or be bothered by other devices.
900 MHz technology is well suited to most industrial layouts. For instance, 900 MHz wavelength is 70% shorter than 300 MHz wavelength, so the signal can "squeeze through" narrow openings. Signals in this frequency range can pass through concrete, glass, wood and other materials. Signals reflect off metal surfaces, and often can find their way around obstacles. Optimum performance requires clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver with respect to terrain or foliage, but the Isaacs SmartRepeater™ is available for applications with extreme range or major obstacles. |

600 Series SmartSwitch Control Radios You can think of these SmartSwitch Radios as remote on/off switches. The transmitter can be wired to any contact closure. When the contact changes the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver to turn anything on or off. Of course the smart receivers do much more, such as monitoring and reporting low battery condition, transmitter connections and loss of transmitter signal.
Handheld SmartSwitch Transmitters Small size handheld transmitters can talk to most Isaacs receivers. Simply push a button to turn something on or off. Models to control from one to four relay outputs. Range up to 2000'.
700 Series SmartData Wireless Systems The SmartData transmitter uses our proven technology to send analog data, such as voltage or 4 - 20 mA output, digitally to a receiver that allows the data to be converted back to analog or serial information. Data can also be input directly into a computer COM port. Computer software helps configure data into charts, graphs and other useful presentations.
Other Smart Components To complement the radio systems, we also offer a growing list of components such as sensors, interfacing relays, data acquisition modules, telephone dialers and more. |
