Irrigation

Before going out and purchasing a Irrigation System There are a few things you need to consider before you purchase a system.

What are your long term water usage and irrigation plans.
What is the quality and quantity of your water.
What crops are you going to plant and what is the water intake of that crop.
How many acres do you want to irrigate.
What is your soil type.
What type of terrain are you going to irrigate.
How much labor will you need to operate an irrigation system.
How much money are you willing to spend for an irrigation system.

All the above are details you will need to address before the purchase of an irrigation system. Installing water lines and breaking out new ground to irrigate, or irrigating existing fields takes planning. This will also determine what type of system best fits your needs and pocket book.
